Consisting of 2 divisions, Automotive Electronics Group (AEG) and Sporting Electronics Group (SEG). 　　1967 Founded as a major contract manufacturer for major original equipment accounts.
　　1982 Established the EQUUS consumer brand of test equipment and gauges.
　　1982 Certified by NATO Alliance to supply alliance countries with military gauges for jeeps, trucks, tanks and naval vessels.
　　1987 Earned five-year contract to supply gauge clusters to Navistar via Motorola (>1.2 million units / year).
　　1989 EQUUS Crossed into the sporting electronics Industry .
　　2004 EQUUS Crossed into the 3C Comsumer Industry investing in entertainment product.

　　Equus has manufacturing facilities located in Taiwan , China and the United States . Sales, service and warehousing facilities for North America are located in Fountain Valley , California and Vancouver , British Columbia . All products distributed in North America are researched, developed and designed at the California facility.
